The Idea Becomes The Institution

(and vice versa)

A spoof on Burning Man with due apologies to The Crow and Larry Harvey. Who new that Larry Harvey had long dark hair under that hat of his?

It is the natural progression of ideas that they become co-opted by the society around them. In the process the idea is changed (i.e. rules at Burning Man) however, society is also changed (Burning Man on "Malcolm in the Middle"). The brighter Burning Man burns and the more it resists the imposition of societal rules the greater will be the change to society during this process.

Just my $0.02.
